Nesting

I am nesting.

No, I'm not pregnant. It's just that spring is right around the corner and I am ready to change up the house again! One might think this is all kinds of fun for the owner of a vintage rental company, but actually it is a little overwhelming. I have so many things to choose from, it is important to edit!  I'll take you on a tour and show you some of the new displays.

 

I created this display using some of my rental items.

I have a large collection of nests that my children have gathered for me over the years. They are extra special gifts, so I displayed a number of them in my shadow box coffee table.

I'm especially fond of the polka dot feather! 

Three children add up to a lot of nests! So here are a few more places I've scattered them throughout the house...

Longing for Summer

As I sit here, it is 28 degrees and snowing outside. While I really shouldn't complain, because we've had an unseasonably warm winter in Cleveland this year, I can't help but long for summer. To help make this yearning a little more bearable, I decided to post some pictures from a photo shoot I styled with my rental items this past season.

 

I am so lucky to get to do what I love and work with other great professionals, like Victoria Stanbridge Photography! ...and I can't wait to savour some fresh lemonade!!

Let's Get Writing

What an inspiration to launch my blog!  When out on the hunt this morning, I came across this great typewriter. I was so excited, I could hardly contain myself! What a great addition to my inventory. It is in working condition, so it can be used as a means to write personalized guest book entries at a wedding reception, or family recipes at a reunion...the ideas are endless!!
